Trump is more like a stroke, you just don’t know the what or when of it, while Cruz is more like cancer, you are forewarned and have some time to be very miserable before you go.
But in Cruz’s defense I just found this in the archives.

If you went back and forth watching the Fox Debate and the CNN / MSNBC feed of Trump’s alternate show as I assume most people did, you know the Trump thing was shoot yourself boring. Well except for his crazy crowd of dingbats acting up for the cameras. But we did learn that his Billionaire pal Carl Icahn will more than likely be his choice for Treasury when he becomes president. My guess is he will choose Sarah Palin for Interior.
It took eight months for the RNC to come to terms that Trump was going to be their nominee. Which I would guess is about the same amount of time it will take the rest of us to come to terms with him becoming our next President.

43% of Americans not only believe but want the End Times to come in their lifetime, i.e., the obliteration of 6 billion people, including fetuses.
More than that believe the Earth is less than 10,000 years old.
Now extrapolate those numbers to Republicans and add global warming denial into that mix and we find that the people of Somalia, Afghanistan and Scientology are better grounded in reality than the GOP.
