Though the title sounds like just another addition to this gang bang pile on of Brian Williams I can’t recall every happening to anyone else, the lead in by David Letterman is perhaps the best lighten up I have heard so far from any side of it.
Of course this is a big win for the right-wing Swift Boat coalition who also destroyed Senator Kerry for no reason at all other than for being a liberal in their ranks. They got Dan Rather too for being mean to military hero George H Bush in an interview.
As far as lies go, this embellishment of being in the second rather than the first helicopter is about as silly as it gets, but it’s about OUR TROOPS so there can be little if any defense without paying a hefty price of some sort or another.
I wonder though, does this mean the EIB network will be suspending Rush Limbaugh without pay for 6 months? For each lie? How many hosts will FOX NEWS have to suspend? What can we suspend George W and Dick Cheney from? What about the entire House and Senate? Can we suspend them all at once, or do we have to do it in small alternating groups?
And what of The Daily Show with Brian WIlliams?
