Oddly, Ms Blakely was never told that her breasts were causing distraction on the job during the 13 years in which she worked for the Devereux Company. In fact, she rose to the position of Assistant Executive Director, in charge of 100 people.
The nonprofit behavioral health organization which also provides foster and adoptive assistance gave Blakely laudatory reviews and promotions until she filed a complaint accusing managers of sexual harassment.
The managers may wish that they’d worked the problem out rather than firing Blakely who dressed in an appropriate manner for the type of work she performed. Oh,and Gloria Allred is now her attorney.
