A few times a week for over a year now most people, including Republicans, slap hand to forehead in disbelief as Donald Trump spouts forth another brain fart that helps put Hillary Clinton into the White House, what words go along with that forehead slap? IDIOT! BUTTHEAD! AHOLE! MORON! CREEP! MENTAL! NUTS! STUPID! AWFUL! RACIST! BIGOT! FASCIST! LIAR!
Of late more and more of his old friends, business partners and acquaintances are coming out to say the real problem is he just dumb as a rock. Where are his college transcripts?
But on the other side – if we subtract those who choose him only for party unity – that leaves about 30% of Americans who many times a week clap their hands together to say: GENIUS! HALLELUJAH! GREATEST BUSINESS MIND IN THE WORLD! HANG HER! HE SAYS JUST WHAT I AM AFRAID TO SAY! HE IS 100% RIGHT! HE WILL BRING OUR JOBS BACK! LOCK HER UP! MEDIA IS LOWLIFE!
What you won’t hear from politicians or cable and network TV – which I am now reading from in quite a few conservative columnists – is that this profound fail cannot be blamed on the other 16 Republicans he beat in the primaries, or even Donald Trump himself, but upon that growing minority of Sarah Palin losers in the heartland who refuse to put down their beer, their flags and guns long enough go out and get an education rather than plying their anger and hate do the next group of pickles downwind.
Just in the past week I have seen many such columns from Republicans followed by them asking themselves what are all these losers going to do after he is fired bigly to become the biggest loser in American politics. Going down so hard they will get their noses rubbed in all that white gravy covering their chicken fried steak?
Will they join the Bundys? Jesus? Terrorism? Secession? Start a Grand Old White Party? Or… The smartest, logical and most reasonable move, become Democrats who will do far better job of looking out for them than Republicans ever have. Na… The racism the religious intolerance and their diet of nothing but talk radio and Fox News for a generation have made it irreversible. They have always been there, always been the way they are, but it is talk radio on Fox News is what has made them so loud and proud of their ugly ignorance. And why can’t the liberal media call political incorrectness what it is, bigotry. A shorter with less syllables.
