Trump wanted to get close to the voters he’s courting, so he only brought a Secret Service detail and the tank he drove, while greeting the throngs of people with his one tiny raccoon-paw size hand waving. Your definition of ‘throngs’ may vary.
Yes, there is criticism of Trump’s sudden decision to pursue minority voters, but it’s unfounded. Far from being a tone-deaf, racist moron, Trump feels a kinship with minorities who feel that they haven’t had the same fair shake as whites. We’ve all heard his Horatio Alger story and now he’s fighting a system that is rigged against him – he’s practically a minority himself!
If you agree there is truth to humor, this clip lends credence to the supposition that Trump (the real one) is giving only lip-service to courting minority voters, to make people who object to his open racism feel better about voting for him. At one time I would have wondered if people that gullible existed.
