Donald Trump wins CNN Republican Debate

Donald Trump wins CNN Republican DebateCarly Fiorina had the best line of the night with her response to Donald Trump’s “Look at that face!” comment with “Women all over this country heard very clearly what Donald Trump said.”

This morning pundits are all gushing about Carly Fiorina  performance at the debates last night, giving her the win, but polls are showing that The Donald won again by a huge margin. And if that’s not enough for you, Mr Trump himself says he won by a huge margin. So there you have it.

I must say that they all came off friendlier and funnier than last time, especially The Donald who actually became quite personable. Well all except for sour face Carly Fiorina who is about as much fun as a canker sore, what a fun date she would be. Speaking of which. Mornin’ Joe Scarborough and Mika both were gushing about her this morning saying she does not have to be likeable, she just has to win. Hello?  They say exactly the opposite about Hillary Clinton every 30 seconds.

Marco Rubio failed with his water joke at the get-go by reminding people of something they had mostly forgotten. Lindsay Graham did well in the pre show with advocating war in a fun and witty manner. Lots of war, all the time, war now and forever, war is good, more war and then some. Mr War. And you know if the Republicans win the White House who will become the Secretary of Defense.

All in all it was 4 hours of furthering the decline of the Republican brand which before the debate gave generic presidential candidates to Democrats 57 over 42 or 15 points.

The ever growing bigotry directed at Hispanics, immigrants of all backgrounds, flat taxes benefiting the wealthy, the attacks on Planned Parenthood, the rabid pro Life politics and advocating doing nothing about global warming are all losing issues in the general election. Other than immigration, Donald Trump seems to be the most reasonable one on the stage.

My advice to Hillary is just be quiet and wait it out while the Republicans further the destruction of their brand by one upping themselves into ever more bigotry, religious intolerance, guns and war.
