Jerry Seinfeld is called in to slap some sense into Jon Stewart for making fun of someone who may be gay – not that there is anything wrong with being gay.
Even I saw this gay accusation as a reach. But these are comedians doing comedy.
The bottom line here is not funny in any context at all so they do not address it.
What Michele and Dr. Marcus Bachmann – and Rick Santorum – do is generate exclusion, intolerance and hatred for gay men, women and teens. Which in turn is the direct cause of THOUSANDS OF TEENAGE GAY SUICIDES a year. As such they should be reviled as the pond scum they are. But you see, though that is true it isn’t funny…
