Boy that father of one of the dead victims sure is in trouble for crying and whining about the NRA. What a jerk! Well so says Joe the Plumber, who I must admit is a fair representation of the intellectual level of all gun enthusiasts.
This last shooting has the mainstream media along with the regular old Republicans arriving at the answer to this problem of gun madness. After all, DON’T FORGET THE KNIVES!
You see, it is not guns at all, but mental health that is the problem. So what we need to do is to not rain on the celebration of guns parade which is the centerpiece of American Exceptionalism. No, rather we need do something about the borderline crazy young men.
With mental health not even addressed by most Republicans as a health issue, and with no money or institutions to deal with them, we must round up all the Jarel Loughners, James Holmes, Adam Lanzas and Elliot Rodgers in America and… Well… Hmm… And… I would guess there are more of them than undocumented workers so the rounding up would not be the problem for Republicans, but what exactly to do with them once they are identified and rounded up. Of course no matter what we do with them they will still be able to buy truckloads of assault rifles and ammunition at gun shows. So whatever we decide to do with them, they will be able to buy all the guns and ammo they want. American Exceptionalism.
