It looks like Rachel Maddow has knocked Rand Paul out of the Republican primaries. With the help of BuzzFeed’s Andrew Kaczynski who picked up on her lead to find plagiarism is a way of life for Senator Paul. And to be sure, it’s not over, for even Rand Paul admits more will be found.
The photo here, though taken some time ago, now bodes the reality of the day. Ted Cruz has replaced Rand Paul as the Tea Party Darling of America. Rand Paul is fading.
But it is not only the plagiarism that is plaguing Rand Paul, more so is his trite, snotty, nasty, let’s shoot a woman denial that he did anything wrong. That along with his added sarcasm of saying he will footnote his speeches in real time. And of course his boo hooing about being treated unfairly and that he would bed more than happy to take the ball and go back home to his uncertified laser eye practice.
Hey, even I know that when I lift a fact or some numbers from an article to make absolutely sure I change all the words before and after the facts. I guess I was brought up by my father to be more honest than Rand Paul’s father. Who by way, did some last minute campaigning for Tea Party homophobe and War on Women leader Ken Cuccinelli.
BTW, “Family Values” has now come to define only two things, denying pregnant women, gay men and lesbians the same values and rights as any other family. A celebration of wholesale bigotry.
And please remember that both those issues were so important to Jesus that he said nothing about them.
