Here you have it, the American conservative voter of today, about 70% of the population of Dumbutt, Texas. Though it seems this guy is from the Florida pan handle, Joe Scarborough country!
I have to say this again because no one else will. [Though I did notice Tony Auth did a political cartoon today making fun of it by what nuts these people are when we all know it’s coming on December 21, 2012.]
But that is not the horror of this. The horror is 42% of Americans believe the Rapture is coming within 39 years. That is intellectually no more silly, stupid or insane than Rapture coming last week, tomorrow or in 2012.
And sadly, silly, stupid and insane are not the real issue, but rather that 42% of Americans want, hope and PRAY FOR – not only the massive genocide of 6 billion men, women, children, toddlers, babies and fetuses – but also happily condemn them all to everlasting pain and torment.
There you have the high moral ground around of American Evangelical Christianity. And who will stand up and call this horrid genocidal crap it is? No one looking for a vote or a buck.
Such people should be left behind the urinal cake.
