Summer draws tourists from all over the world to Jimmy Kimmel’s neighborhood playground in Hollywood, which makes it the ideal time to play the game “Foreigner or Not?” Here’s how the game works: Jimmy’s cousin Sal brings out a pedestrian on Hollywood Blvd. who has been instructed not to speak. Jimmy then guesses, based purely on their appearance, whether that person is a Foreigner or Not.
Note how Jimmy uses his experienced eye to size up the shoes, clothing and other little oddities which might mean that someone doesn’t hail from the U.S.A.. Everyone wins – an apple pie. Oddly, the most exotic looking person who played today and completely stumped Jimmy hailed from… Massachusetts!
The game “Foreigner or Not?” is played a little differently in border states, where judgements are often made with more haste, and either gunfire or a quick trip home in handcuffs often follow. Folks are so much more laid back in California.
