Former pastor Joshua Feuerstein & his, We do not support gay marriage, cake

Former pastor Joshua FeuersteinFormer pastor Joshua Feuerstein wants to buy a cake from a Florida bakery to celebrate his Christian bigotry with the words, “We do not support gay marriage” boldly and intolerantly squished on top.

This of course is a way for Christian bigots to defend themselves by saying liberals are intolerant bigots no different than we are, or worse.

For most of us the flaw in this logic is plain to see, that pretending that the celebration of bigotry and the refusal to partake in the bigotry are morally equivalent. Or for that matter that the promotion of bigotry and the disparaging of bigotry are the same in any rational or reasonably context at all.

Also keep in mind that these same people who so loudly try to pass legislation outlawing Sharia Law are not intellectually capable of understanding that their so called RELIGIOUS LIBERTY LAWS are just what Sharia Law is. Their minds are just too clean to grasp such things from all the washings. And I suspect the drying. Hanging form the line on clothespins or tumbled dry I do not know.

This reflects upon the much larger issue of their refusal to accept the separation of Church and State into their silly world. They believe this or that God – who may or may not exist – makes laws that transcend laws from entities that do exist like governments, Constitutions and human beings.

Thus the abortions, birth control, abstinence and laws to protect themselves from their discrimination directed at gays and lesbians, which are also forms of their own Sharia Laws.

With all the Republican yammering about The Constitution how can these same people believe that their Christian Sharia laws should transcend the very Constitution they play lip service to?

BTW, Cut the Cake who refused to make the bigoted cake for the bigoted former Christian pastor also went to Gofundme.com and now has $10,000 on the 4th day. Which is more than TEN TIME LESS than Memories Pizza got on their fourth day. Cut the cake gofundme.  The celebration of bigotry brings in ten times the money as denouncing bigotry. Something Rush Limbaugh learned 25 years ago and is not closing on on a net worth of $1 billion dollars.

Did you know that Rush Limbaugh’s claim to fame that sent him to New York and syndication came from his Sacramento radio show where every Friday he would read off the names of men who died from AIDS in San Francisco and push the applause or laugh button for each one. That’s how to get rich in the world of Republican Politics.
