What we have here is a failure to communicate and a sorry comparison of apples to oranges. Surely the talking heads at Fox News know better, but in a last ditch effort to lead viewers astray, they are denigrating Wall Street protestors and reviewing the golden days of Tea Party rallies that were never given the attention owed to them by a ‘biased’ media.
The ‘Heads’ say that the Wall Street protestors are an aimless lot, who presumably would be bumming spare change and scratching fleas if not for this cause. In contrast, the mistreated Tea Party were average folks with extraordinary insight. The insular T.P. group included a phony plumber, a has-been actress from SNL and ‘rock star’ Sarah Palin! Like average folks they were financed by regular guys like the Koch Brothers, representing at most 30% of us.
The people who are protesting throughout the country now represent the 99%. In other words they are all of us – including some Tea Party members! Here is a movement truly consisting of united Americans, a fact which is guaranteed to cause the Fox talking heads to weep. After all, they have been in the business of frightening viewers and pushing divisiveness for years. We’ve read about what this nation united can do with a just cause. It is FOX NEWS’ job to make sure it never happens.
