Sure there is a connection between these crazyass Bernie diehards and the crazyass Donald fans with their misdirected anger, their false sense of reality, their lack of logical conclusions and even screaming LOCK HER UP, but there is one big difference, the Bernie fans mean well while the Trump fans mean bad. What possible good could come from a Trump presidency? Well other than Republicans being able to be more politically incorrect (bigotry) than they already are.
This is where all that crap comes from that the parties are the same, there is no difference bla bla bla. A belief held by millions of people who equate the process to policy. People too lazy to pay attention, who from their very premise refuse to pay attention.
I remember something William F Buckley said that I once agreed with, that no one elected president can change the system enough to matter much. Well that was true until last week. Buckley’s spawn, George Will as you know turned in his membership to the Republican Party a few weeks ago, not so much because of Donald Trump but because Republican leadership has not spoke up.
