George Bush may have been confident and even cocky when he bragged that water boarding was legal – as far as he knew – but the world courts and human rights activists don’t see it that way at all, in fact they feel obliged to bring him to trial. They’re in the business of punishing war criminals, even those who feel that they are above the law. It’s a pity that someone tipped Dubya off. If Bush had followed through with his scheduled speaking engagements in Geneva, criminal charges were already filed and waiting for the Texas war criminal.
