GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and his wife Callista were showered with glittery confetti by a protester Tuesday. The confetti storm hit while Gingrich was signing books at a Minnesota Family Council event. The glitter cascade appeared to be pleasant compared to what his own party has been blowing at him recently.
Protester Nick Espinosa said the glitter was his protest against a proposal to amend Minnesota’s Constitution to ban gay marriage. An added bonus in this video, is the very creepy Family Values thug who escorts Espinosa into the elevator at the end, and somehow infuses the phrase "Peace be with you" with ungodly menace.
