Glenn Becks grotesque mocking of the mentally disabled

Beck was reacting to David Carr, who had made remarks on a web-only segment of Bill Maher. Carr has since apologized for the remarks which have been taken out of context. Carr had referred to people in the "middle places" with the "low-sloping foreheads," meaning neanderthals. Why Beck chose to react to the remark with a disgusting impression of a mentally disabled individual, rather than a neanderthal is known only to Beck. Noticeably absent is criticism from Sarah Palin and others who are usually quick to jump on a careless word which could be linked to her Down Syndrome baby, if only in a Seven Degrees of Kevin Bacon AKA Trip Trak Trigger kind of way.
