And then I recall a peace march I was in as a veteran in 1970 having fellow veterans on the sidewalk with their NUKE THE GOOK signs throwing beer cans me. And we can go back to forever in this great divide. As Lady Gaga has says, WE ARE BORN THIS WAY. Whether it be lack of altruism, inability to stand in another’s shoes, having no sense of village or community or not caring one wit for anyone or anything other than oneself and the back pocket.
