Goofy Impeachment Republicans

What news! There is the big lie the GOP leadership tells about the coming impeachment of President Obama. That there are no plans, no one wants it, and it’s all a conspiracy from Democrats in the White House to raise money.

This is that thing that is so disconcerting about Republicans. Like Fox News and talk radio they can lie to our face, to what we ALL know are lies and get away with it. Hate trumps reason. Which religion is suppose to put the brakes on rather than put the gas petal to the floor.

After all, who does not understand that Boehner’s lawsuit is a game to defer impeachment talk until AFTER the coming election? Is there anyone who does not understand that?

A July polls showed 68% of Republicans think here is “justification for Congress to begin impeachment proceedings against President Obama at this time.” Though only a 57% majority of Republicans want to actually proceed with impeachment now.

2014 GOP House members calling for impeachment:

Rep. Steve Scalise
Rep. Jeff Denham
Rep. Kerry Bentivolio
Rep. Steve King
Rep. Jason Chaffetz
Rep. Michele Bachmann
Rep. Blake Farenthold
Rep. Steve Stockman
Rep. Jack Kingston
Rep. Randy Weber
Rep. Joe Barton
Rep. Michael Burgess
Rep. Ted Yoho
Rep. Paul Broun
Rep. Louie Gohmert
Rep. Lou Barletta

A short list of GOP leaders outside public office calling for impeachment:

Sarah Palin
Allen West
Joseph Farah
Alan Keyes
Jeanine Pirro
Andrew McCarthy
Andrew Napolitano
Mark Levin

Senator Ted Cruz has a list, you know like Joe McCarthy had lists, of 76 lawless actions by President Obama. Which are in fact the brief for impeachment. Though Senator Cruz has not openly called for the impeachment of the President he has called for the impeachment of Attorney General Eric Holder.

The first thing we learned about impeachment back in 1998 is it’s 100% political. Secondly we learned how crazy it is that even though the Senate votes not to remove a president from office, that a President is still considered IMPEACHED no matter.  A failed impeachment still places IMPEACHED at the top of the president’s resume. Our flawless constitution. But what better way to sully the reputation of the first black president and his family?

I cannot see why the GOP would not impeach the president. They have the gerrymandering to hold the House for a generation, the ever growing White divide is on their side. And the dominance of the Hispanic demography is much further down the road than Democrats think.
