GOP Candidates Scramble to Name Woman For Ten Dollar Bill Gotcha Question

/

Gotta Know a Woman if You're Putting One on a $10 Bill Republicans Caught by Gotcha Question

If you didn’t watch the three-hour marathon Republican debate, you missed this uncomfortable moment in which the candidates were asked which woman deserves the honor of having being commemorated on the ten dollar bill. A woman?! What is this a joke, another gotcha question!  History was written by old, white guys who conveniently left out marginalized populations such as people of color and women. Most adults with a modicum of curiosity have since acquired a bit more knowledge than their fifties era History books learned ’em…But It soon becomes apparent who did and who did not in this crowd.

Three candidates named family members:  Huckabee nominated his wife, Carson – his long suffering mother, and you will never guess who -named  his hot daughter who had been ‘sitting for three hours!’  What a gal.
Fiorina named No one. She  felt the whole thing was unnecessary and inappropriate.
Ted Cruz felt the $20 bill should be changed back to Hamilton (who was not a woman to our knowledge).
Jeb Bush erroneous on two counts, said it was ‘not going to happen anyway’ (despite announcements from the Treasury Dept. to the contrary). Jeb chose unpopular fmr British PM  Margaret Thatcher, ‘partner of Ronald Reagan.’
Chris Christie  chose the Adams Family matriarch. I leave you to decide which Adams family comes to mind.
Some candidates were better informed.  Rand Paul: Susan B. Anthony, John Kasich: Mother Teresa, Scott Barker: Clara Barton and Marco Rubio chose Rosa Parks, which inspired several ‘me toos’ among the less imaginative who had already blown the question.

Pictured is one woman no Republican candidate will ever recognize for her heroic efforts. ‘The Mother of modern  contraception’ and founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, who was jailed for her efforts to provide poverty stricken and  overworked women the opportunity to control the size of their families.
