Seth Meyers takes a closer look at Republicans who are already making promises. The GOP vows to block Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s Supreme Court nominees for four years, but that’s not all. The Republicans will be actively attempting to impeach Clinton if she is elected, and promise to throw accusations and court cases at her. Ideally, the GOP wants to see Hillary jailed – for being an uppity – and nasty woman. In keeping with the spirit of cooperation they forged with President Obama, the GOP has solemnly sworn to make it their first priority to oppose Clinton at every turn.
On the bright side, this is one promise the GOP fully intends to keep – and they’ve shown they can do it! I’m confused, is this a sign of impending integrity for the pig-headed pols?
So, how do we make people care enough to vote out the thugs who hold guns to our temples, and demand that we elect their puppet or suffer a clogged political system – for yet four more years? I don’t claim to know, but it looks like President Obama and Taco Bell may hold the crispy golden keys to our Democracy.
