New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has a healthy glow, despite claims that he was nowhere near the beach over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Beaches and state parks in New Jersey were closed over the biggest weekend of the summer due to a disappointing government shutdown over insurance. While miles of beach are deserted, pictures and videos of Christie and his family enjoying a state beach near the Governor’s holiday home abound. It’s good to be king!
Unmistakably tan Christie showed his famous temper when reporters questioned him about the private beach vacation, cutting off the interview snapping: “Enough! We’re talking about the closing of government and you’re talking about your TMZ Stuff.” Later, when Christie could no longer deny, he defended, saying “no job in the world is as important as my family!”
Christie obviously thought that no one would spot him and his entire clan chillaxing on the beach..And if so, what’s it to ’em? The episode reminds me of a nasty and vindictive bridge closing incident.
