Longevity is doing so well that there are now many cases of parents and their children in the same old peoples home.
The real answer to this problem is the GOP is going to have to somehow walk away from the Religious Right. THAT is what the STUPID we hear is all about. In fact you may notice that the new group of GOP “young turks” are further to the Right than ever before, but are skirting around the stupid in the Religions Right. Rand Paul and Ted Cruz the most well known, are for the most part only about using McCarthyism and hatred of Obama and the government as their main stay to stardom.
But like Ron Paul before them, they too are creationists, no abortion for any reason, want religion to control public schools, not happy with birth control and not gay friendly. They just learned from Ron Paul to do their best to keep all that under the table as much as they can get away with.
So it seems that it is the Religious Right that the GROWING part of the electorate – the young, Hispanics and single women – cannot stomach and will vote Democratic even though they too don’t want any Lazy Negroes getting any of their tax money either.
