Remember, only 40% of Americans own guns, and more than half of those are shotguns for hunting or a handgun in the house which they have had for many years usually handed down. Sales of new handguns, rifles and assault rifles are marketed directly to GUN NUTS who buy them by the truckload to fill their armories. Mainly amassed to shoot and kill police, our troops, neighbors, school children, co workers and family and x friends and spouses.
And these 10% or so dictate the gun laws for the rest of us. They call this kind of win over public sentiment and sanity “political passion”. Like abortion foes, their entire lives are consumed by it. Nuts.
