This is the same story in every state held by Republican governors and legislatures. The fear that drives our American addiction to guns – other than these gun enthusiasts wanting to shoot federal agents, errant police and our troops if need be – is mostly about wanting to get a chance to shoot who else?

States held by Republican governors and legislatures have all passed – or in the process of passing – laws to hinder African Americans from voting, whether it be unneeded voter ID laws, restrictions on early voting, taking away the ability to register and vote on the same day, and of course the most direct affront which is indefensible, closing the polls on the Sunday before the Tuesday vote which specifically attacks African American get out the vote process from churches.
Also keep in mind that after being exposed as a racist nutcake and having both elected Republicans and share consumed conservatives pundits now running for the hills, his gun enthusiast friends camped out in Nevada are not only defending him, but have now set up armed checkpoints harassing locals in he area.
And lastly, If Bundy and Company were black this would have been over a week ago.
