We love to support the arts, and always look forward to Jimmy Fallon’s reading lists. One man’s ‘worst’ book selection is just what another man has been searching for. In that spirit, remember that if anything in this list strikes your fancy, there is an excellent chance that you can locate a copy in the hinterlands of the internet, because every bizarre book mentioned here is real. After all, what kind of sicko would make this stuff up?! Another option is to contact me. The house and garage are filled with boxes of books that neither of us remember purchasing.
One of my favorites is “Dating For Under A Dollar” This is one I may search out, some of the suggestions are so strange that I’m overcome with curiosity to see just who came up with them! Another selection which causes me to wonder about the author is: “How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found” (by Anonymous?) This isn’t a title you see every day. “Electricity in Gynecology” (I hope this is not a DIY book)
Diet books will always be popular. “Help Lord, the Devil Wants Me Fat!” by CS Lovett is another intriguing title…And I see its’ appeal. What a relief to have someone else to blame for that Tub o’ Chocolate that vanished in my vicinity one night.
