First off there is a deeper game being played here than meets the eye. Senator Reid is making a statement that can only only be disproved by Mitt Romney releasing the last 10 years of his tax returns. Just like the GOP forced the President to knuckle under and produce his long form birth certificate.
I am sure Liza Benson is not making the point that it’s long LONG overdue that Democrats start playing the crap covered gutter politics that is the mainstay of Republican discourse. But I must thank her for pointing it out. How many Republicans play the unfounded lie that Obama was foreign born. In fact in that case there is no UNNAMED SOURCE that points to that fact. It is just COMPLETELY made up crap. My complaint is that this is just a little bit of it, we need to go much much further to gain parity. You know what Republicans say about parity? It is the reason that every Tom Dick or James should be able to have 100 round clips for their assault rifles when they go to the movies.
Democrats need to expand on this kind of gutter politics to catch up and be fair. How about telling everyone that Mitt Romney has elevators for his cars! Or that he believes Jesus lives on the planet Kolob? Or that Jesus came to upstate New York to end the 500 year war between the lost tribes of Israel? Oops, that’s all true… Let me think here… I am not good at this. What we need is FOX NEWS and TALK RADIO to help me out on this stuff. Rush! Hannity! Help!
