In honor of Father’s Day, Jimmy Fallon reads his favorite tweets with the hashtag #Dadvice, because we love advice from dad! Some dads aren’t so comfortable with hugs and discernible affection. Those dads (and the other kind too) show their love by giving you advice. “How’s your carburetor?” is worth a dozen roses – if he intends to fix it.
One of my favorite bits of advice from this collection has to do with driving. One secretive dad advises, “Don’t use your turn signal, it’s nobody’s business where you’re going.” I don’t know why, but I suspect this dad may have been a an Independent Transport Coordinator for an organization with a lot of employees named Vinnie, Joey and Sal.
Whether you need tips on napping in class, getting the entire family into heaven or foiling thieves at the airport, dad is the ‘go to’ guy. Write it all down and share it with us – spread the wealth – we know there’s a lot of it.
