Like many, John Oliver is appalled by Donald Trump’s insipid reaction to White Supremacist violence in Charlottesville, VA. The begrudging message Trump sandwiched between a a bill signing and his afternoon nap, left Nazis and other tiki-torch carrying white wankers feeling loved and supported.
Candidate Trump couldn’t shut up about what he claimed was President Obama’s reluctance to use the words “radical Islamic terrorism.” Now that he is faced with violent Neo Nazis, Trump refuses to condemn his base, much less use the words ‘domestic terrorism.’
White Supremacists were so delighted by Trump’s staunch allegiance that they posted their take on Trump’s brief message:
“Trump comments were good…He said he loved us all. Also refused to answer a question about White Nationalists supporting him, no condemnation at all. When asked to condemn, he just walked out of the room. Really, really good. God Bless Him.”
To which God replied: “I unequivocally condemn the Nazis. Their beliefs and actions in no way reflect the glory of my creation.” Referring to Trump, God added: What kind of f!@$*#! idiot would not distance himself from that?!!!”
