In this edition of Jimmy Kimmel, Donald Trump – and this is true, recently attempted to court the Indian-American vote with an ad in which he tried to speak a phrase in Hindi. We can assume that Trump has sewn up the votes of women, the “Blacks” as he calls them, and the Latino vote, and now can focus on the American Indian vote, not to be confused with the Native American vote. There isn’t time to address Trump’s misguided assumption that everyone from the diverse country of India is a Hindu. That said, Kimmel’s crew found people on the street who do speak Hindi. The phrase Trump used, took 15 takes to capture, and consists of only 5 words. Is it possible that people who have spoken Hindi all of their lives, understand the short phrase Trump spoke in hopes of winning their hearts and minds?
