In what sounds like a proclamation from Flip Wilson’s old bit "The Church of What’s Happenin’ Now," Pastor Paul Wirth, head pastor of the Relevant Church in Ybor City, outside Tampa, once again delivered his 30-day sex challenge to churchgoers on Sunday during a sermon series on relationships.
Wirth, who says 20 million American couples have sex less than ten times a month..with one another, believes 30 days of intensive and forced activity will build stronger marriages. The pastor has never heard the saying "Familiarity Breeds Contempt" …and/or another child. Singles shouldn’t get excited, as his advice to them is to abstain for thirty days.
There were no details concerning which group was the more frustrated after the thirty days in previous years.
