If it seems odd or even blasphemus that Jesus would select his favorite moments from Mrs. Betty Bower’s videos, then you obviously don’t know about Betty – or her unusual marital arrangement. As ‘America’s Best Christian’ it is only natural that she would be the spouse of Jesus, and the DIL of the Big Guy. Before you scream blasphemy, keep in mind, please – that no one questions Catholic nuns when they claim to be brides of Christ…And what’s more kinky, I ask you – one wife or thousands?
Betty covers five years of videos, with very short blurbs from each. The Rick Perry clip is particularly relevant to this blog. It has become absolutely necessary for a candidate to tout his relationship with God – the Christian one. We see one such campaign ad from Rick Perry, stating, “I am unashamed to admit I’m a Christian.” Until now – no one has considered whether Jesus’s feelings are reciprocal.
I found this highlight interesting from Betty’s “America’s Favorite Ways to Ignore Jesus” video, in which she points out that Atheists are less likely to divorce than Christians – “Which makes Atheists better Christians than Christians!”
“Things that make you go hmmm” Betty does give one pause for thought. Reporting from the devastation of a tornado in Oklahoma, she observes ‘they are giving thanks to God for sparing them.” “It’s a little like thanking a serial killer for killing the family next door.”
Rackjite reported a lady who claimed she gave the wheel over to God, yesterday. If you blink, you may miss seeing Betty do the same thing. The results were not tragic when Betty turned the Mercedes over to Jesus, of course…The only casualty seems to have been a cardboard cut-out of Victoria Jackson holding a very nasty sign…He does work in mysterious ways.
There is much profoundly entertaining material gleaned from Betty’s five years as “The Missus” that you are bound to be entertained, or insulted to the point of losing the power of speech . Kindly remember this is ‘merely’ humor.
