John Oliver joins Jimmy Fallon, to discuss who should take the reins from Jon Stewart of The Daily Show, and to celebrate a renewal of his own show on HBO, one of our favorites, Last Week Tonight!
Don’t believe right-wing sites…You knew that, sorry. A Fox broadcast recently said the Daily Show would become nothing more than a straight news outlet with a liberal slant without Jon Stewart. He implied that the heart had gone out of the show, and liberals can’t possibly continue along the same lines of satirical butt kicking. I detect a bit of hope in his remarks.
Keep those fingers and toes crossed conservatives!
John Oliver is correct when he says it is unimaginable to think of anyone else doing Jon Stewart’s job.
That’s why the optimum choice is a – mystery unless you watch the video! I will hint that only Jon can replace Jon, and the solution bears some similarity to Tupac and Michael Jackson’s careers, which continue well past their untimely deaths. Why can’t Jon Stewart be home for dinner with the kids – and do the Daily Show too?
Who do you want to see in Jon’s chair, if Jon absolutely can’t/won’t do it?
