When Jimmy Kimmel read the New York Times story reporting that Donald Trump Jr., his brother in law Jared Kushner and Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort met with a Russian lawyer to hear information that could hurt Hillary Clinton, Jimmy thought it all sounded very fishy. That’s why Kimmel invited White House spokesperson Kellyanne Conway live via satellite to clear it all up in her own impenetrable way.
Jimmy also questioned Trump Senior’s proudest achievement of his meeting with Vladimir Putin. Upon arriving home, Trump was aglow having sealed a brilliant plan to partner with Russia.
Trump tweeted: “Putin & I discussed forming an impenetrable Cyber Security unit so that election hacking, & many other negative things, will be guarded…”
Putin’s mastery of his face is admirable. A less-disciplined person’s eyeballs would have rolled up like window shades.
This may not be the first election Trump and Putin have planned, but the plans for cyber-security are the most public plan the two have proposed. To Trump’s dismay the plan was not met with enthusiasm, even by Republicans. Lindsey Graham summed it up best: “It’s not the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard, but it’s pretty close.”
