Jimmy and his cousin Sal set up a fake sonogram appointment for their pregnant cousin Micki. She was in on the bit, but her mother (Jimmy and Sal’s aunt Chippy) was not. Aunt Chippy had never seen a sonogram before so Jimmy had their graphics department come up with creative images to give her the most incredible sonogram that anyone has ever seen.
The fake sonogram has none of the fuzziness which causes some of us to blink repeatedly and wonder if we have cataracts. Chippy can see very clearly when the baby becomes extremely active, proving to be quite precocious. Only because the technicians take the baby’s strange actions in stride, does Chippy accept what she is seeing without question, despite the unlikelihood of prenatal jumping jacks. The staff takes the baby’s actions in stride, as does Chippy – until Jimmy and Sal stage a finale too absurd for anyone to believe.
