The state of Utah is considering a bill that would allow the sale of edible marijuana for medical use. One (now infamous) DEA agent desperate to hold the line against encroaching roaches, argued that he believes rabbits will eat the marijuana plants and get high. Stoned bunnies apparently are a bad thing.
The agent based his case on an instance where one – just one, rabbit returned to the site of a burned crop, refusing to move to a different location – as required by law. This, he believed was a stoner bunny who had lost his natural instincts due to the evil weed! He argued that more rabbits would become ensnared in reefer madness if legal grows were allowed.
