Joan Jett and the Foo Fighters, BAD REPUTATIONon November 16, 2011 at 1:31 pm
What kind of music does Rack like? I happened upon this on Letterman last night while getting that top ten video. It defines well what I most enjoy in music. KICKASS ROCK AND ROLL. Which I have happily found to be the most enduring fountain of youth going. Which reminds me of the greatest hook of all time, May You Stay, Forever Young, by you know who.
BTW, I happened to catch Joan Jett at a music festival last year and was in the front row when she came out and began her show with CHERRY BOMB. Being a guy I had somehow missed that tune in my youth. It was new to me and hit me down to the bone. For weeks I was beginning my conversations with everyone, "CHEH, CHEH, CHEH, CHEH CHERRY BOMB!" It almost went as deep into my soul as did IT’S A SMALL SMALL WORLD on my first trip to Disney World. I couldn’t get that one out of my head for most of a year. Well, that and THUNDERSTUCK by ACDC. Nice mix.
