Asked by Politico why the McCain team, having fully vetted Mitt Romney, then chose relatively unknown Sarah Palin, McCain answered:
‘Because we thought Sarah Palin was the better candidate.” What the Whaaa? Fun was sure to follow, and follow it did. Watch these clips of Sarah Palin while keeping McCain’s statement in mind. It’s fairly evident that Palin was not vetted at all.
I’m not one to gossip, but we do know that McCain was the only one to view Romney’s tax records. He then avoided Romney as if he carried the plague in one pocket and typhoid in the other. Coincidence? McCain also made remarks concerning Romney’s China connection, perhaps it’s time we see for ourselves?
