I was just asked by a Libertarian “What’s the big deal? After all, it’s not crank or crack and my doctor prescribes it to me when I have cold.”
We talk about the issue as bad role models for kids and making the users sick in the head. But the real reason that is seldom talked about is why the Hall of Fame denies these guys entrance. Steroid use is horribly unfair to not every baseball player in the Hall of Fame, but all players everywhere who do not use them. Unfair to honest role models and sports heroes. Unfair to the dead.
Here in Texas we have forgiven Roger Clements and his playing now in the AAA league. Without need to wear a cup I would guess…
