It turned out that Americans who respect free speech won the day in New York as Iranian President Ahmadinejad make a complete fool of himself at Columbia University. Though he made a few cognitive points regarding the relativity of foreign policy, he dropped the ball when questioned about the Holocaust and the existence of Israel. But it was his contention that there are no queers in Iran that brought the house down. As Jon Stewart implies, Ahmadinejad walked into Columbia as the face of Middle Eastern evil and walked out as a pathedic little clown. Free Speech won the day.
