This hardcore Right-wing African American bigot then goes on to disparage “anyone who wants to come along and change the definitions of the pillars of society…” That statement deserves that this man be called the NWORD until his dying day. And look at that sneer as he pontificates his crap.
The pillars of our society were defined by slavery, apartheid and calling African Americans NWORDS for about 400 years. And who are the “anyones” who most changed those pillars of society? Abe Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr. at the top of that long list.
So now we have a replacement for the last African American Republican Tea Party star Allen West. And this one is a friggin brain surgeon no less!

Here are three definitions of Bigot.
Bigotry is the state of mind of a bigot: someone who, as a result of their prejudices, treats other people with hatred, contempt, and intolerance on the basis of a person’s race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, religion, language, socioeconomic status, or other status.
A person who is intolerant of any ideas other than his or her own, esp on religion, politics, or race
A bigot is someone who holds predefined negative views about a class of people. Examples include anti-semites, homophobics, racists, religious extremists of any religion.
BTW, the word comes from 16th Century French “sanctimonious”.
I would also like to add to those definition two important issues that make this specific issue of bigotry directed at gay and lesbians a step beyond bigotry. Forcing one’s prejudice into law, which is what Mr Thirsty is doing. And of course what makes it even more obnoxious – immutable cause – or as Lady Gaga puts it, born this way. Attacking people for something they cannot help.

But actually, the Georgia Senator is so dense that he does not even realize his quote is the logical response to the bigotry and homophobia he portrays. That if you don’t like gay marriage, don’t marry a gay person. If you don’t like abortion, don’t get one, et al.
Gosh… The issue is about embedding prejudices, bigotry and racism into law. Anyone is allowed to be as much of a bigoted a whole as they want. That is why Rush Limbaugh makes $50 million a year. Making a wholes feel good about themselves is big money. Other than Mexican music, it has taken over an entire form of media, AM radio.
