Torture is a Republican thing, well except for John McCain it seems. Fox News, talk radio, Dick Cheney and the Tea Party sure like it! Character matters. It’s the nature of the beast.
Let’s see. The Republican high moral grounds: Executions, guns, corporal punishment, assault rifles, preemptive war, shooting, torture, rhino rounds, collateral damage and of course support of white cops shooting unarmed black men. Where do I sign up! Hey, don’t even have to travel all the way to Iraq or Syria to sign up with ISIS. We can do it right here when we register to vote.
Hold it now, what about all the well meaning nice things Republicans stand for? Like… Ummm… Like… Ah… Hmmm… Like… Gee… Well there is forcing women to have children they do not want, denying gays the same rights as anyone else, taking away health insurance from 10 million people and rounding up another 10 million for deportation. Oh and reducing taxes on billionaires and white people. That’s the big one, and what could be nicer than that?
