The big flaw in Fox News equivalency here is that what the two NPR employees got fired for was holding a sign that was absolutely true while just about everything Fox News does is dishonest bullcrap.
But here we are back at the old MORAL EQUIVALENCY crap that runs rampant through conservative ideology. The IEB network is not the same as NBC. Rush Limbaugh is not equal to President Obama. Fox News is not equivalent to NPR or PBS.
To NPR’s credit, when employees cross the partisan barrier they are fired. So with that said.

It has been brought to my attention that your fair and balanced Fox News Network has LIKE NPR had a few employees cross the line into partisan politics. And the constant bleating from you network on who horrible that is. So please follow the NPR model and fire Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Dick Morris, Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, Gretchen Carlson and that whole silly gang of morning clowns. And hurry up!

By the way, the tax money going to NPR and PBS most entirely go to rural markets where it could not otherwise survive on donors, and where all radio stations and newspapers are harshly conservative. Remember, rural people have never seen a black person, and shoot crap rather than learn crap.
