Immigration Reform requires Background Checks. So says Republican Senator Marco Thirsty Rubio who just the other day was set to filibuster the Senate to not allow TALKING about Background Checks for terrorists to buy guns.
And then of course paying a lifetime of back taxes and a 15 year long wait to citizenship with no government assistance or health care for getting a work permit to fix our roofs and clean our toilets. The GOP does not even want to use the term GREEN CARD. Oh and Jon forget to include the GOP requirement of ENGLISH ONLY.
I don’t know, unlike losing the Gun Background Check law later today in the Senate to the Republican backed NRA, at least this one is a foot in the door. Though I seriously doubt 20% of Hispanics are going to be fooled and vote Republican.
It is also a way for the GOP to get 15 more years to figure out what to do about winning national elections before the Hispanic hammer comes down once and for all.
