This whole thing about being a Christian Nation and there being no separation of church and state reminds me so much of all my past creation/evolution debates.
Based as it is on replacing THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD – where one gathers all the facts and data to then arrive at a conclusion – with the SILLY METHOD – which begins with a conclusion and THEN gathers ONLY data (there are no facts) that proves the already arrived at conclusion.
It is THE SILLY METHOD that drives the Republican Base in all things. It is why the likes of Gomer Pyle, Sister Sarah, Batcrap Bachmann and that guy who’s name means a mix of semen and poop are so popular with Republicans.
