For many years I watched Morning Joe as I wrote this each morning. I liked it because it was short on celebrities and Joe gave me a good daily insight in the dark heart of Republican politics on most every issue. I got both sides in the background TV.
I hadn’t noticed until it was mentioned to me, but I haven’t had the TV on in the morning in many months. I had unconsciously stopped watching Joe and Mika. So I tuned in the other day during the Netanyahu week to see if I could find out why. I lasted about 3 minutes before I shut it down again.
It’s nothing really specific, it’s the hyperbole, the nit picking nanonews, the silly meaningless political crap that they make into Earth shattering profundity. Well that and Joe Scarborough going off into his crazy spit flying rants about more bombs more war and more torture. It’s the nature of the Beast.
