Jon Stewart, midterm elections all about fear

All we have to run on is fear itself!

Jon stewart fear itselfThe Republicans are running away from the Tea Party and the War on Women while the Democrats run away from President Obama, which pretty much leaves what? ISIS and EBOLA.

I don’t know, it is kind of IFFY about Republicans running from the Tea Party and Evangelicals, it could hurt their turnout.  But there is no doubt that Alison Grimms cannot even say she voted for President Obama without dropping 20 points. After all Obama gave us the successful Affordable Care Act, more than doubled the stock market and of course brought unemployment down to 5.9 which is what it was before the Bush Recession. Hmmm… So what is it about our president that Democratic candidates can’t even admit they voted for him?  Hmmm….

I recently spent a week up in Wisconsin during this political season, I asked all my once liberal friends from college why they had WALKER signs in their yards.  I got the same answer – other than a single word – I get down here in Texas asking why they vote Republican.

“I don’t want my hard earned tax money – they are mostly on SS and Medicare – going to all those those lazy BUMS downtown.”

And we so often here from Republicans that race is not a factor, racism is over in America, that race no longer matters, when in fact it is now and always has been the most divisive political issue in American history. That above answer is why we are the only nation without universal health care. And we don’t want to talk about it,  and when we do, it always comes down to screaming about AL SHARPTON.
