The "sex" example here is not prom or even a simulated sex act. It is a few seconds of female nudity. It concerns a theme I have been dealing with for 20 years, sex OR violence in the media.
Here in America most of us are afraid to go for a walk at night. We are even afraid of having our children walk to school in the DAYTIME. We need to go buy guns because everyone is buying guns so we need bigger and better guns to survive. We are the murder capital of the industrialized world, a nation in a forever war somewhere or other. We spank, we paddle we execute. And the guns… Gush… 20 round clips for our pistols. 80 round clips for our rifles. Boxing, kick boxing, football, dog fighting, cock fights… We are the most violent first world nation on Earth.
All of it celebrated in America, but show a bare butt or a flash of a nipple and we got trouble, trouble right here in River City.
Lately with the GOP primaries most every day we hear about the worst place in the world, Europe! Where sex is all over prime time but little if any violence. And those welfare state socialist commies kids walk to school, the people take strolls downtown in the evenings, they wander around til dawn partying. 6 week vacations, empty prisons, free health care and a social net that keeps most everyone far enough above water to not have to buy a gun and sell drugs to survive. And now the GOP wants to take even food away from them. The most Christian of the GOP candidates, Michele Bachmann said let them starve. And she has a direct line with Jesus Christ!
Why is it that the most Christian nation on Earth has the most crime, the highest murder rate, the most violence and the most people in prison?
