Jon Stewart, Trump voters are not racist, they just don’t want their healthcare insurace to go up

Jon Stewart, Trump voters are not racist, they just don't want their healthcare insurace to go upJon Stewart makes a fine speech, we are not different than we were two weeks ago, what made us great is that we are still the most successful multi cultural and religiously open nation in the world and it will keep moving in that direction no matter a few setbacks and pitfalls.

He also expresses what so many of us have to deal with over the past few weeks, dealing with our family, friends and acquaintances who we love and care for who voted for a buffoon. But I have to say it, voting for a buffoon as President of the united states is stupid.  Perhaps we can come to a compromise here, voting stupid is not the same as being stupid?

In this case Jon Stewart uses the fear of rising health care costs as the impetus of his friends and all decent Americans who stupidly picked The Donald for president. Even though that is not the impetus of the vast majority of Americans who voted buffoonery over a private email server because of white identidy politics. Though Jon Stewart makes the same point I tried to make with a Good Old Boy Texan friend of mine just after the election.

I asked what we could agree on, what can bring us together?  The answer came loud and swift. GETTING RID OF FRIGGIN OBAMACARE.  There was my opening, the kicking the carp of those protesters in Dallas was second, not first.

Okay I said, the answer to that is really very simple, a single payer healthcare system which about 60% of Americans already say they want.

WHAT IS SINGLE PAYER? NEVER HEARD OF THAT.

Going on to explain that if EVERYONE pays in through a payroll tax, like Social Security, which then not only covers everyone and costs us all less, but YOUR Republican representatives in Congress will decide what it costs and what the benefits rather than the board of directors of for massive profit insurance companies.

BLANK STARE.

And there you have the crux of the problem. Reading no newspapers, no books, watching no CNN, no NPR, no PBS, no twitter, no nothing but a steady diet of  right-wing talk radio, Fox News, Drudge and their own friends on Facebook. The bubble of lies, propaganda, fake news and conspiracies. But what even surpasses the ignorance is their overwhelming, seething hatred of liberals (elitists) who are better educated, smarter, more successful and better looking than they are shaking their fingers in their faces with political correctness.
