To blast a series of ads at us every 7 minutes or so has been a staple of television now for over 60 years. What’s new is doing it on cable news channels which costs a fraction of what real content costs, and to stretch it out for 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Lot’s, and I mean LOT’S of filler is needed to fill a 24 hour period for what 60 years ago was done in 15 minutes.
In defense of CNN, Ed Schultz over at MSNBC reports that Flight 370 was hijacked and is sitting on a runway in the jungles of SE Asia. Though I like Ed and his old school UNION / FDR / DEMOCRAT thing he represents, this crap reduced him to being not much better than Fox, where of course it’s Obama’s fault.
